Maybe the characters can write "letters" to each other?

I've never done role playing before, but I suppose I could try! It does sound fun.

Hmm... and I really wish I could come up with a great plot to inspire you to write. I'm seriously just sitting here, staring at the wall, trying to come up with something... I'm thinking of one of those "assignments" or whatever they were that Teresina would send Will and Alonso on... or a crazy party on the ship where everyone gets drunk. Haha, maybe someone else will be more helpful.

Oh, the letters idea is interesting! I just thought it would be amusing to record the characters' responses to computers and things: "Oh, what the devil is this? Look, I press these buttons and letters appear on this thing..." XD

I like the idea of writing something between Matelots and Treasure, I just need to start it...that's alway my problem...*is still staring a blank word document*

Haha, that'd be so funny to see Will and Gaston trying to figure out a computer. I suppose it would have to be a laptop with batteries.... that never die. They could lug it around and use it as a journal, and Pete could play chess with the computer!

I was thinking about being Liam, myself...but if no one else wants to be someone more important, I'm willing to take on that roll XD

For the screenplay, I would probably have Will narrate, though I could probably cut a lot of the thoughts out and find a way to convey it through action or cinematography, if I really work at it.

If I had a myspace, I would totally be watching all of you. xD

I would really like to start an RP up...just for the hell of it. I think it'd be really amusing to play with different characters' reactions to technology.

You can see their MySpace pages (or rather, you can see Will's MySpace page and the status of the others, because they are set to "private" until they are done) without having a MySpace account. Only if you want to be their "friend" do you need a MySpace account. Go to:

http://www.myspace.com/rbwwill ...and you'll see it. The others are, naturally: .../rbwgaston .../rbwstriker and .../rbwpete , respectively.

Oh, damn! I didn't realize that! You can see his page, but apparently not his status message - which is where the hints are - if you are not logged into a MySpace account. Boogersnots! Well, I'll just tell you what they are at the moment:

Will: Will is wishing Gaston and Pete would hurry up.

Gaston: Gaston is going to kill many people with Pete if he has to.

Striker: Striker hates being in chains.

Pete: BeMakin'APlan.

There are your first chapter of Wolves hints. :)

Marg. I finally looked at your examples of LJ RPGs, and the second is better than the first, but still seems kind of... off. Maybe that's because everyone seemed to be doing their own thing. The way we had it on AOL was there were "threads" and then "sub-threads." I suppose that can't really happen on LJ, because the comments section would just be too confusing. But if each scene were a separate thread, that would be better, I think. So, like, if someone wanted to RP them roving, that would be a thread. If someone wanted to RP them on Negril, that would be a thread. Etc. Yes, no, rum? ;)

That's the sort of thing I was trying to find for the second format but the one I found was the best example I could get ><

I think it would be rather amusing to have a community for threads like that and everyone can still keep separate character journals or have their own little side rps in the character blogs (because I think it'd be cool to have everyone make an account for their character, yes I'm a dork). Something like that. I'm not sure exactly...

It would require everyone to get new accounts for their characters, but it'd be fun. I suppose I'll wait until we have more people onboard before setting something up...

I think I'm going to stick with being Liam...his accent's almost as much fun as PeteSpeak. XD

After much thought on the matter (and not because you'll be Davey, I promise!), I think I'm going to be the Bard...out of the three characters I've been swinging between, he's the least fleshed out so I'd be less likely to screw him up xD

...we should probably start setting things up soon...but I want to wait until we got more people...blargh...*goes in search of someone to play Will and Striker*
