Now guess which line (out of alllllll the lines in the movie) Channel 5 decided to cut when airing A League of their Own yesterday?

Yep. The penultimate line. I was gobsmacked.

And somehow, for some reason they decided to allow a curse to slip by ('You're killing me, Alice! You're G**damned killing me!')

Colour me annoyed.

They obviously weren't thinking...because the line straight after that one is when he says to the umpire 'Did anyone ever tell you you look like a penis with a little hat on?'

I mean...come on!
