I think a persons happiness should measure a person's life.
Some people don't want kids (and some regret them once they have them). Some are perfectly happy at menial low-paying jobs. Some don't ever want love (and I know some of these people). And if that makes them happy, they are successful. If they come to the end of their lives and believe they lived it exactly the way that made them happiest, that person is a success. And after all, you can't take it with you anyway, so might as well enjoy what you have when you have it.
**P.S. I have a boy in my chorus class that just shaved his head, and is YOUR TWIN. He looked a bit like you before but now, WOW! I just want to put a saxophone in his hand, either that or teach him how to vocally percuss :-)
wow, now i feel unproductive. to answer your question: happiness, of course! but, then again, happiness can come from love, money, success, etc., so i guess that doesn't really answer anything. but i don't want to sound shallow, so: happiness!
