Have you ever heard of the expression that when asked what they love about their partner the most, they reply by saying that they like who they are when they are with them?
I like how you came to that conclusion, because it's so true. Seaki's route was very fun, to see him be so tired with himself, to finally finding a side of himself that he likes when he's with the heroine.
Of course, a large part is played by the heroine. She's usually the oblivious idiot who doesn't say much/do much, but with Seaki she indulges him in his childish antics (wanting to 'chop' him when he's sleeping, or stepping on his toes during their dance), and their interaction feels so much more real than any of the other guys. Hence why Seaki's route has a special place in my list of favourite TMGS guys.
I never did like Kei - couldn't stand him (and his voice actor), so I never finished his route. I adore Suzuka though!
- nod - Saeki-kun's route made me laugh and cry; it was great. Daisy really did have more of a personality around him...I will continue to wait for the day that she really does manage to chop him properly :'D
I adore Kazu-kun and think he doesn't have enough of a fanbase ;A; Honestly, he was the character I enjoyed the most in GS1 and I always felt guilty whenever I wasn't on his route...silly as that is. He had so much spirit, and his blushing is adorable.
Kei's alright, he's just rather bland, really. He has his cute moments, I guess, but his character is so two-dimensional...And there's no development at all. I don't understand why either of the characters fell for each other ;; As for seiyuu, I love Midorikawa Hikaru generally speaking, but he used a pretty weird voice for Kei; it was so dull that I didn't believe it was him for a moment.
I chop him all the time during dates, and his responses become increasingly cute depending on which state he's in. He's also got the best dialogue after Love Mode out of all the guys, he gets all confused and stuff which is adorable
( ... )
xDD Saeki-kun DOES have fun dialogue after Love Mode. I really need to play through the other characters (especially Masaki). I've only actually finished Saeki-kun, Harry, and Shiba-kun (working on Waka-sama because he's so out-of-it that I'm finding him hilarious).
...So THAT'S what was up. The first time he did that whole falling over thing I was laughing so hard. Good to know why now :'D Gaah, he's just so adorable ;A; His dates are definitely the most fun out of all the GS1 guys.
I'm lucky because I did Kei's route first so I had a lot of patience...that and I actually didn't meet Kazuma until winter of 3rd year or so, and never found out how much fun he was until much later (when I accidentally got his best friend route while going for Kijyou-kun).
