[It's been interesting, riding with two people on one bird Pokemon. They couldn't go quite as fast as normal but it's still better than walking.

They've had to stop to set up camp for the night, though, and Gus can be seen making notes in his breeder's notebook, Luxray sleeping next to him and Juliet, now an Infernape I can math, really, dozing

I like to think I've always been pretty good with animals. Pokemon are easier to understand since they seem pretty much sentient.

[Juliet has heard the "commotion" and climbed down. Now she seems content to use Gus' leg for a pillow. Hey. Trainer. It's bed time. Sleep and stop keeping us up with your talking.]

... Case in point. I think that's her way of telling me to go to sleep.
