Whoo-hoo! I am glad that you are starting to think of yourself and what you want to do with your time. It makes me smilllllllllle.

Does your going to UC next year mean that you will be hanging out with Kalli like old times? Or is she too different. I know when i saw her last year i was like "whoa...you've changed." Not that she isnt capable of being "hung-out-with," just maybe it might be a little awkward...(?)

Mkay.

Now just how did i inspire you to start creating stuff? Was it that entry about painting my eyefowl?

i don't know. i've visited UC a couple of times, kalli really didn't seem that interested in seeing me. last time i came up she didn't see me at all. but kalli made it pretty clear that she wanted to make a whole new set of friends when she went to college, which i can respect, and is far better than trying to make a "saved by the bell: the college years" with someone who is clearly not interested. i'll probably just see bri*n more frequently, of the old gang that is. kalli does seem a lot different now, i think she is how she wanted to be in high school. that's cool for her, she seems happy.

does moving to cincinnati mean i am closer or further away from UC?

oh yea...
the inspiration thing. well, it was two things. a) a while ago you wrote about a sky you were painting and how you had just gotten it how you liked it. and b) the eyefowl, which i vividly remember. but i was like, damn, i want to be doing that. what the hell's stopping me? so i have begun on a painting of a hippopotamus with just his eyes and ears and forehead sticking out of some murky water. i will probably work on it for years.

did you ever get that postcard i sent you? National geographic has so many good pictures that could provide information on hippos.
