so i put xp on my macbook pro, and it's sort of way faster than os x... what's that about? actually, it seems like it's faster than my p4 desktop at work at doing the same thing, which may be true. i guess i don't have any tasks to compare os x with xp right now. i'm pumped to install vista, but i forgot the dvd at work...

i just like the fact that itunes for Mac does not convert wma songs, but itunes for windows does, so i just convert them shits, move em and start over. time consuming, but since NO FREEWARE converts wma to mp3 on a Mac, its a nice shortcut.
also, i have a DVD-burning program that compresses and burns a ripped DVD in 25 minutes or less. on the old wood-burning P3-1000 it took about 4 hours.
