I haven't had much time to post... as we are starting our busy prefair season of stuff to do. Thankfully I've finished one year into my MBA... 4 years to go... but so far so good. I'm taking the summer off because we just refinanced our house, and I didn't have the cash for tuition this semester... no more loans, paying one class at a time. Of

My crew is the Vigilant.... the Living History group Nick (Ash) and I (Choel) work with. Not nearly as entertaining as you all I'm sure.... but we are about as period accurate as you can get for the GAP.

As far as that whole Portland thing... trust me we would love to come out one year.... just got to save up the cash, and arrange the babysitter... thing.

Very cool. We don't do so much living history but we work with a few guys that do a LOT of it, so we do the occasional living history event, I love 'em! There were actually plans to work out a short stage piece involving some history on actual pirates that we can take around to schools in the area, but I'm not entirely sure where we're at on that. We generally try to be historically accurate, but we don't stres it too much, since we're on stage singing some rock music with our shanties.

Do you guys have a website for the Vigilant, I'll see if I can't set up some sort of cross-promotional thing and get links up from the B.O.O.M. website and the Portland Pirate Festival website.

Sorry, I got caught up in real life... our office just moved, and I was sick all last week while coordinating it. Now trying to organize new office space, before leaving for Hampton, VA, on Thursday.

Our crews website is vigilantcrew.com... that would be awesome. We have done school events and we do large living history events... camping, etc. We try to leave the entertainment to people like you who can actually sing!!!
