Around 8:00 this evening, my grandmother passed away. I don't know the exact time, because I was teaching a class. I wasn't informed (officially) until I got home at around 10:30. She wasn't alone while she was dying, but she still waited until people were out of the room to finally let go

My father's parents passed on several years ago, but the regret never really leaves. The "I wish I had"'s, the "I should have said"'s. All of that. I'm sorry for your loss and wish your family well.
