Random Drabble So You Don't Miss Me

1:01am

You kidding me, right?  A young woman by her desk yawned silently and shook her head a bit, rubbing her eyes.  She felt really sleepy.

Suddenly she got a message from someone online.  She blinked her eyes tiredly and cleaned her glasses before clicking on the sudden message on her email.

Yengie, are you asleep? ^^

The girl growled internally and looked around her room. Her mother was going to the restroom or checking up on other stuff in the house, her father was sleeping in the couch (she doesn't wish to know what happened again), and her younger sister was in a deep slumber because she had school tomorrow.  The girl yawned again and glared at the screen before typing a message back to her.

Yeah. ㅡ_ㅡ What do you want, Jongie?

Yeng immediately turned to lay down on her bed. She wrapped herself up in her blanket before she had an email alert from her phone.  Groaning, she picked up her phone and read the email.

(ToT)  But... I'm at the back of your house in the patio... it's freezing out here!

"What?!"  Yeng sputtered out and climbed out of the bed, running to the kitchen silently and unlocking the back door.  She glanced behind her, and sure enough, her mother joined her father on the couch.  She quickly snuck out the back door, gagging silently as she closed it and ran to the patio.

Sure enough, a man in average height was sitting on one of the chairs, freezing his ass off by wearing a wife beater, jeans, and sandals.  His short brown hair appeared ruffled up from a restless nap, so it seems.

Yeng went up to the man and slapped him on the bare shoulder.  "Why are you here?!"  She whispered / half shouted.

The man shrugged and peeked through the open window of the kitchen, also silently gagging like she had done right before seeing him.  "I was about to ask you if I could sleep beside you again since I got kicked out again from my house by my own folks," He began and kept his gaze at the nerdy woman in front of him, who wore a cute blue pajama camisole with matching shorts.  "But I should make you sleep in your garage with me."

The young woman slowly nodded and adjusted her glasses as she led him to the door of her garage.  Jonghyun quickly lifted her into his arms and quietly shushed her when she was about to shout in surprise.  "Let's not disturb your parents..." he whispered as he entered the garage with her in tow.

He walked through the rubble of mess that has been stored for childhood memories.  It was like a small one room apartment inside the garage, with little trinkets everywhere and a path which led to a perfectly good yet used mattress.  He laid Yeng gently on the mattress and sat beside her, tucking her in with a clean blanket that was never used for a long time after the last time it had been washed, simply because the children in the house have grown and the blanket had Power Rangers on it.

The two friends snuggled together and slept until sunrise, when Yeng's father came to wake them up before he left for work.  He thanked God that his daughter still had clothes on.
