When I read the news this morning I was thisclose to posting a one-line journal entry that would be filed under the heading of "FUCK." I loathe the Harper government. There used to be a point where I could identify why I don't like it, but there are too many reasons now. Backing out of Kyoto. Sapping aboriginal funds. Implementing the first private hospital. Putting all this money into cancer funding to help rich sick people and even this isn't running swimmingly. Kissing PQ ass (this is less of an offense, but I know his intentions behind it, which have nothing to do with Quebec). This is all just this week, basically.

I know! holyshit! what is this government, for real. I was just talking to my mom about all this business tonight & she was like, "the really infuriating thing is that, aren't we over 50% of the population? where is everyone?". & ya there's loads of silly politics going on now!! there's going to be a new Conservative party leader chosen in Alberta, apparently there's one who's extra-specially conservative & spouts off about "family values" (as if that's what Alberta needs! haha). anyway. the revolution is brewing. ;)
