So, I am redesigning Undress Me Robot. The old layout isn't terrible, but something better and more crisp is needed. With that in mind, it is my great great (*shakes head) great pleasure to present: http://test.undressmerobot.comRead more... )

Well, to be honest, my eyesight is a bit subpar. As such, I find it difficult at times to differentiate between shades and hues of a color that are differentiated by only small amounts. Similarly, my eyes perform best when handling images with high levels of contrast
( ... )
I was only suggesting, i understand the difficulties of distinguishing between hues. Add to that different monitors...you get different colors....from my old mac monitor here at work, i see 80% grey 50% grey and 10% grey and then some little bitty blue type. now my design sensibilities instilled by kent state university are just crying for a mix up. That, and people respond to color. they like happy colors.. maybe try adding some pretty melon orange to compliment the blue...a bit of greyish purple or some random shade of mint green and brown. i think there is something called color picker which i believe is a free download somewhere and it picks out some color schemes for you to see what varous shades work together. i dunno, might help. Just some constructive suggestions Spencer.

Don't let my verbosity (read: bullshitting) put you off. I was just having fun.
I tried http://wellstyled.com/tools/colorscheme2/index-en.html in an attempt to find a color scheme I like, to no avail. In the current scheme's defense, it does allow the user to focus on the main content (especially on the first page), rather than the overlying layout. I think my problem is that all the contrasting two-color schemes have been used before (The New York Knicks, Christmas, etc.). That and my being retarded when it comes to this sort of thing.
