Some days I don't think about him, and some days I do. It's been so many years I just don't think about it all the time, and it doesn't mean I don't miss him anymore - I do. I suppose it is because I have accepted that my beloved pink-haired man isn't walking this earth these days, but I am.
I made a decision years ago that as long as I'm walking this earth, breathing this air, I will try to live my life and do what I want to do.
I have a belief that when we die - we reunite with our loved ones. I really do believe.
That is why I want to leave this life, once that day finally comes, knowing I have lived to the fullest, and all I will feel is happiness without regrets when entering the next.
One day when I looked up at the sky I smiled. It was pink. The thought that ran into my mind was; was it hide's wings? Or his smile? I silently told myself it was his smile and I felt so at peace as I smiled back at the pink-coloured clouds. A lump formed in my throat and I closed my eyes as the evening-breeze blew in my face and through my hair.
One day, but until then... and so I bowed and headed off, down the street.
