i completely agree about how you can't "take a break" from art.
you go to school, you study math, you come home and you stop thinking about math.
but with us, we go to school and study art. when we come home, it's not like we just STOP thinking about art. it's everywhere, and you get ideas all the time, wherever you are.
it's so mentally draining sometimes. or so i find. to constantly be thinking of possible pieces, analyzing iconic pieces, and having the same topics, and issues pounded into your head all the time.
blehhh! anyways, i love it, and i know you do to. point is though, there's no break from it. which is a love/hate kind of thing i guess....
absolutely! i'm so glad you understand:).. anyways, how have you been? hows second year ocad going? when are you coming home for the break.. we should definitely hang out or something:)
hey, i'm considering going to queen's next year and i happened to find your journal and i discovered that you go there! could you pleeeeease tell me some things about it? the only people i know that went there are my parents- and that was twenty-five years ago.
if i could ask some personal q's... what was your average entering queen's? what about a year after? is there enough to do in kingston? i get the impression that it's a super small town and i'd get anxious to get out of there. what's the atmosphere like? do you find the workload particularly difficult? i know queen's is notorious for it's super difficult assignments and what-have-you. i'm assuming you stayed in res too, so how was that?
please answer, i'd love to know. of course, only if you have the time haha. i can only imagine how preoccupied you are! it's between this and ottawa u. :) thank you, truly. oodles and oodles.
