Life
It's been almost half a year since I started working, and life is very different from what it was. I haven't been around in the fandom because work and thesis have been exhausting and there have been months in which I drew nothing.
I don't like most of my tasks at work. They are extremely trivial, and I have to keep sending emails and making calls to make sure that the things go smoothly, which I hate. I hate pushing people, and I have to and my boss is a big fan of pushing me. The only thing that prevents me quitting my job is that I do feel what the company is trying to accomplish is important, not only to the company's development, but also the country's. I do believe that we may make a difference, and a big one at that.
As my boss indicated that she was going to assign more important tasks to me after I graduate (when my internship ends) and join as an employee, I decided to take advantage of the last month before my graduation by taking almost a month's leave and having fun in Seoul and healing my soul in Jeju island with some friends. I hope there'll be nice long walk on the beach like I did in Nice nearly a year ago. I haven't decided on the final schedule. I know I'll take leave from May 25th and go to Shanghai for thesis defense, and then probably travel in Korea from June 2nd to June 9th.
I still find it hard to imagine doing this job after one or two years, except that I start to find something enjoyable about it or get some serious promotion. I hate the feeling of not having one thing to look forward to when you wake up in the moring from Monday to Friday.
As you can see from the previous posts, I started drawing batfamily doodles. I guess I just want something new for a change, and a friend was really good at pimping and introduced me to Nightwing and other admirable and adorable characters. I feel like staying this way for a while. But I do miss activities in SPN fandoms. I check lj once every day and I saw summergen, bigbang, heatwave and all kinds of old and new challenges, but I just can't find the mood or focus to do any of it. But thank you mods for making this fandom so beautiful. And to my friends good luch with the challenges you got and have fun!
