I downloaded all 12+ glorious minutes of the 1812 Overture and cannot stop listening to it at full blast. I feel like my entire life is falling into it's rhythm. As you can see, it's very exciting and I daresay triumphant ( Read more... )

I have never read the graphic novel, but I really did like the movie. I think that some things probably didn't transfer to the screen as awesomely as they could have (the mask is a little weird in some scenes) but overall was very very entertained.

i am exicited too! it will be an affair to remember!

i do too. i was just making an observation.

You should have been reminded how awesome the 1812 Overture was by the CD I made with rockin' tunes on it!

Anyway, I agree, 1812 Overture is fun.

I also heard V for Vendetta was really good and I've wanted to see it pretty badly since I heard about it.
Well, not THAT bad, but I plan on seeing it in the theaters sometime.

Your classical cd started me off on it again but i sort of forgot how much i enjoyed it again until i saw the movie.

i think you will like it. i hope you do. i did. but that's not always a great indicator...

i had originally planned on seeing V for youknow this weekend but ended up failing to rent ALIEN instead.

and i'm jealous that the 1812 overture is your classical theme song. you're pretty much bound for limitless success now.

lastly, i wish i wish i wish i wish i wish Animal Collective was coming to pittsburgh. i wish the philly film festival and spring would hurry up and come to pittsburgh as well.

i think you would especially like the movie. i hope you do, if you see it. i've never seen alien. maybe one of these days...

i wish you would just come to philadelphia and make all our troubles melt away!

do you have a classical theme song?
if not i would suggest flight of the valkyries by vagner (wagner?). it suits you.

Why hasn't anyone seen alien?

I want a classical theme song!
I think mine would be night on bald mountain by Mussorgsky because I had a dream I was playing it on the violin and a string snapped and slashed my face open, but I kept playing! That was a really badass dream.
