1) real is one of those words that doesn't really mean anything anyway so quotations are appropriate because they indicate your detatchment from its use in this sentence. you are not responsible for this stupid, vague word. it just happens to be here because one of its accepted meanings applies and you're too lazy to expound.
2) every day is "Day One"... it also seems as though you have no other journal entry titles in your bank of possible journal entry titles.
