Right now I am truly ashamed of our military, president, and country. Our abusive, humiliating behavior has just proven all the U.S. opponents right. For the first time in my life, I'm ashamed to be called an American. What has happened to this country?

Is proven a word? Does anyone know?

I was not attacking you sweetie and I am sorry if it came across that way. I am from a military family. I married a military person. Now he is retired thank god. I have a brother that is in the military. I get very protective when it comes to our troops

Is she your mommy in RL? Or an I missing something. If so that is totally cool....If not that is cool to. My mom would never to a journal like this. Kind of a bummer because she has a lot of neat things to say and gives some great advice. She would never respond to a political post either. Hehehehe....she doesn't like Bush, but she is a republican. We would have gotten her to vote democrat if Gephart was our guy. She liked him, but couldn't really give me a reason why. I am not saying Kerry is my favorite guy, but its not Bush. *smiles*
