I really hate when the fashion mags and rags all announce that the look for fall is "body concious".

Do they not think I'm already concious of my body?

That being said - how much amazingfuntimehappyshow would going to NY's fashion week be? I get chills just perusing the pictures...

I was just thinking that, watching the BCBG slideshow. "Jesus, I need to lose a lot of weight before I would wear any of this ..."

I would LOVE to meet you in NYC and sneak into the shows. We'd have so much fun!

Funny story. We are walking out of the BCBG store in Westport, and in the front window is a mannaquin wearing what has to be the shortest skirt I've ever seen. So I turned to Scarlett [nanny] and said something like "holy crap, that's a short skirt".

Just then, a woman walking into a store ahead of us whipped around and shot me the dirtiest look. I realized she was wearing a tiny mini skirt. I start laughing and try to point out the store window, but she just stormed into the next storefront. I'm sure I was called every name in the book.

We'll need to take our tiny dogs in our big bags.

LOL! Of course I had to go spend quite a bit of time perusing the websites. Sigh. I need to discover a waist again to pull off those freakin' belts. I'm being reminded of the 80s, back when I did have a waist :(
