That is incredible! I'm glad you had such a good experience. Your talking isn't obnoxious, although it's hilarious how you ARE posing and looking for the camera. And talking about your hair at the end is amazing.
Wow. Okay, Jess, props to you. What an awesome video. I was afraid someone with a spatula would be on the ground waiting for you, but it was a perfect experience. I don't think I could do it.
It did go remarkably well...the instructor even commented on my perfect execution of the whole thing...apparently most people grab the door of the plane on the way out, which is a no-no. I didn't, but it was mostly because I was paranoid of screwing up and killing us.
And there was a moment of sheer terror (on film) when they opened the door up there where I really didn't think I could go through with it. I think we surprise ourselves sometimes, with what we can do.
Looks like you are enjoying the lake...When is the return trip?

AHHHH! I have no words! I watched the whole thing and loved every minute of it. I actually got nervous for you right before you guys jumped out. How amazing. I REALLY want to do this one day. I think I would literally pee my pants but whatever! I love how calm your parents were.. how your dad was just munching on a chocolate bar (that was a chocolate bar, right?) my mom would have been FREAKING OUT. You are lucky your parents are not crazed Sicilians.

Yeah, that was a chocolate bar. I was so pleased they got that on camera...And that's not my mom, mind you, it's my friend's. I called my own mother right before we walked to the plane, and her response was, "God Dammit, I told you not to call me until it was over!!!" Sicilian, no--Crazed, yes.
Other than the one or two moments of sheer terror it was super crazy fun, and I am SO going again the minute I can afford it. I highly recommend it, to anyone, you would love it...Seriously worth the urine-stained pants, should it come to that.
Jess, I am so effing proud of you! This is amazing. I love the look of sheer joy--with just a hint of terror--on your face when you jump out of the plane. yes, i watched the whole nine minutes.
