BEST HARRY POTTER MOVIE EVER!!!
I loved it, obviously. Some things:
-Yeah, so it wasn't exactly like the book (my favorite HP book, btw). Did you really expect it to be? It's a movie, they have to adapt it. And they did a damn good job doing so. They cut out all JKR's crap, and they made her good stuff better.
-Oh, H/HR shippers, I was laughing so hard at you inside. ;D I have always said that JKR can't write emotion or relationships. This movie added all the stuff that JKR lacked. It made everything believable. That's why it's so hard for you H/HR people because she never showed you the relationships before, and now you have to see them. And, I just feel like I can relate to Hermione. Or, I could have when I was in college. I had two very close male friends, one I had a crush on and he was oblivious and the other was just a friend, though people often thought that maybe I had crushes on both of them or something. Yes, it is possible to have male friends who are not love interests.
-I loved how they ended it, with the phoenix flying away. Yeah, I missed the funeral a little, but I think it would have detracted from the somber end/beginning feel that the end of the movie had (if that makes any sense).
-Emma, Rupert, and Dan have matured so much as actors. They all did a phenomenal job in this movie. Even Rupert wasn't annoying this time.
-Harry on Felix Felicis was hilarious. My friends and I were cracking up.
-When the Inferi grabbed Harry's hand in the cave scene, I jumped practically out of my seat. I grabbed onto my friend's arm, lol. I was not prepared, haha.
-Loved the added scene with the Burrow catching fire. It really hammered home that the war is affecting these characters, that it is very dangerous and serious.
Anyway, there is more but I have to take an econ test. Loved it, loved it, loved it, though. Going again at the IMAX this weekend.
