Had a good week at work, starting to feel as if i'm getting the hang of it. There are benefits to being a lame duck. Once my contract is up here i'm gone and most likely will never come back to this area again. I think it's safe to say that pretty much all of us mid-20s folks are going through the whole directionless thing. I wouldn't feel weird or alone in that.

Dont worry about what you are going to do with the rest of your life you are doing it now! And it changes every day. For some perspective check out the movies at www.the-centre-cannot-hold.blogspot.com and watch Iraqi kids run for water then look out the window at the rain and the sky. At least we live in paradise and have the luxury of thinking what we are going to do with the rest of our lives rather then if we are still going to be alive tomorrow.
