This reminds me of a time, a couple of years ago, when I decided to suprise my woman with a poem dedicated to her. Everyone loved the poem, as I decided to get the opinions of others before I actually gave it to her (to make sure it was perfect, cuz "she deserves no less")...
I read it for her on our year-of-being-together anniversary. She didn't appreciate it for shit. She was a very shallow person, now that I think back on it. At that time, tho, I loved her----and would never think anything negative.
Its cool to know that at least some women are actually appreciative of it, deep enough and able to recognize the beauty of it, and view it with the same perspective I do (a beautiful thing)...I hope someday your hopes become a reality...
