Question: in your opinion, which base is easier to make an icon? anime, manga or game?

I think it's easiest to make an icon out of a game. It's just easier to play around with blend modes (with game bases). :O

I don't know how to make layouts. I wish I did though. The layout that I have was coded by reversecollide.

Hm, when I think of hue, I usually think of...
1. Vibrant, eye catching colors
2. That poem that was in 'The Outsiders'
3. Monochrome/greyscale
4. Rainbows

lets see.. *thinks of question* What's your average time into making one icon? & Do you ever just start over on any of your icons and just redo the entire thing? o-o

Anywhere between five minutes to half an hour. It's odd though, the less time I spend on my icons the more people like them... XD

Yes, sometimes after I save my icon I think it looks like crap, so I redo the whole entire thing. After I edit it I then realize it looks almost identical to the first version. XD

xDDD I think sometimes I half finish an icon then get back to it .. weeks later. haha. I've redone more than 50 of my icons before. ^^;; haha When you done you go to ur old icon that you are tryin to redo and say.. WAIT A SEC?!!?xDD
