k i saw lord of the rings but only the last one so it didnt really make sense but now it kind of does kind of but i still dont understand where he went at the end of the movie and why he didnt throw the ring in asap when he got to that place

FRODO DIDN'T THROW THE RING IN BECAUSE THE RING IS SO ALLURING IN THAT IT IS THE MOST POWERFUL THING IN THE UNIVERSE. FRODO IS CONSUMED BY THE RING , HE NEEDS IT AND LOVES IT AND WANTS IT. HOW COULD HE THROW AWAY SOMETHING SO DEAR AND LVOELY ?
