I think the word is "eclectic" - and it's wonderful!!!

ETA: I love all the songs on that list that I recognize--good stuff in many different genres!

I love Faithful's version of "Broken English" - I forget who else I've heard singing it, but what makes hers work for me is that husky too-many-cigarettes bedraggled-chanteuse voice of hers - the way she sings it just fits the brokenness of the song.

I was so tired, I forgot about that word, although I describe my taste to myself as "catholic," which makes me chuckle.

Broken English, the album, is amazing and difficult for me to listen to. The tragedy of Faithful losing her signature voice! However, she gained more emotional expressiveness through losing what she had.

Pom looks so cute atop that box, but I wonder why a box. B shipped the cd for me, and I don't know how he packed it. Anyway, I'm sure your cats approve of having a new box-my cats, especially Taiki, really like them.
