As promised Sam had helped Finn find his prostate the next day, and there was a good reason they had waited for Mrs. Hudson to leave the house. Finn couldn’t stop moaning along to Sam’s teasing touch. He had come twice in the space of 10 minutes, and Sam just kept going until Finn begged him to stop because it was getting too much for him. Sam enjoyed it though; Finn was literally reduced to almost nothing from just touching him in the right place. Thankfully, Finn returned the favour once he managed to stand and under the careful guidance from Sam he found it and just like the blonde didn’t stop until asked to. Sam lasted much longer than himself.
Sam had successfully made Finn want to have sex with Sam on top, and both of them couldn’t wait for Sam to be able. Until then, they were stuck with the easy stuff which they both enjoyed just as much but it would never be the same. Finn finally managed to bring up the idea of a toy, for at least until Sam gets better, for himself to practise with and Sam’s reaction was to just laugh although he thought it would be hot to watch. They didn’t need toys; they had each other, and as long as Sam’s fingers continued to be as lengthy as they are they definitely wouldn’t need them.
Then there was the one time when Mrs. Hudson walked in on them. Luckily they were both under the covers so she couldn’t see her son’s fingers pressing into Sam who moaned and jumped at the same time upon her unexpected entrance, she literally slammed the door in shock. Sadly, being caught didn’t do much for their sex drive and they both just cleaned up and went to sleep afterwards - though at about 2am, Sam woke to Finn’s tongue against his abs (amongst other things.) But after that, they double checked the door to make sure it was locked.
It would be safe to say that both of them not going to school did wonders for their sex life, or well their foreplay life. Finn’s mailman issue was improving a lot, thanks to Sam bringing him to the edge so many times but stopping before he could actually come. Plus Sam was getting the exercise the doctor said he needed to make sure he heals properly. It wasn’t all just sex though. Having time from school meant they could talk, and be together in the simplest of ways; hand holding became Finn’s favourite (under the table, on the bed, just everywhere.) And Sam appreciated that he could smile at Finn in a loving way, he could stare at his boyfriend freely, and no one could stop it or tear him down because of it. It just made them both sad that in just a couple weeks, Sam could go back to school and that meant Finn was going back too. They knew they had support, the glee club had their back every which way, but they couldn’t help but be a bit weary of everyone they would see - especially Sam after the brutal outing and slushie attack.
“Mom, what time is dinner?” Finn shouted from the living room, pulling the pillows back on the couch to find his wallet. “Sam and I were going to go pick up his painkillers and stuff.”
Mrs. Hudson’s messy head popped around the corner of the door, “It should be about 8, don’t forget Burt and Kurt are coming so don’t be late.”
Finding his wallet, Finn headed to the kitchen to talk to his mom directly. “We won’t, and don’t forget Sam doesn’t like spinach. I don’t know why, I thought it made your muscles bigger or something.”
“Honey, Pop-Eye isn’t real.” She laughed, handing Finn some money. “Could you get some milk too? We’re almost out.”
“Oh okay. And sure, no problem” Finn grabbed his keys from the hook, pulling on his jacket. “Come on, Sam!!” He shouted up the stairs, scaring Sam a little who was already half way down.
Both boys exited the house and stepped into Finn’s car, setting off immediately. Sam still hadn’t driven since the accident, he was too scared to even touch the wheel even though it was only partially his fault - the trucker was going over the speed limit and would’ve seen him otherwise.
Finn looked over at the silent Sam, who was gazing out the window watching cars pass like a child, and he noticed the boy was wearing one of shirts. He smiled at the sight, because Sam had chosen to wear Finn’s when he had so many of his own. But he could also see the weariness on Sam’s face as soon as they passed the spot where the accident occurred. Normally Finn took the longer route to avoid it, but he completely forgot.
“I’m sorry, dude. I shouldn’t have come this way.” Finn spoke, brushing a hand against Sam’s shoulder for a second.
“No, no it’s fine.” Sam shook it off, giving Finn a smile. “I don’t really remember it much anyway, it all happened so fast you know?”
Finn could see that talking about it only made it worse, and regardless of what Sam was saying he knew how he must be feeling. “Hey, let’s not go there again. You’re fine, almost, and everything’s fine.”
Sam knew Finn was right, and as soon as they got out of the car everything seemed better. Finn had waited at the counter for the clerk at the Chemist whilst Sam wondered to pick up a few things - deodorant, shower gel, and they had lube on offer so Sam couldn’t resist. Whilst looking at aftershaves, thinking of getting Finn some as a gift, his body was tackled by a little girl who he didn’t recognize until her face was pulled from his stomach.
“Sammy!” She exclaimed, continuing to hold onto his jacket and then followed by Stevie who began to do the same.
“Hey guys, I’ve missed you!” Sam put the basket full of items down, picking both siblings up and hugging them. He hadn’t seen them for weeks, and it killed him that he missed Stevie’s birthday but he daren’t risk going home. Then he realized there was no way the two were alone. “Where’s mom?” He hoped.
“She’s at home.” Stevie replied. “Dad’s getting her some medicine for her cold.”
“Get your filthy hands off of them.” Sam heard his father speak from behind him and he instantly put both children down - who ran to their father - and turned to him in shock.
Sam didn’t speak, he just stared at the disgusted face his father was pulling, and then looked at the confused faces of his siblings. They didn’t need to hear this; they didn’t need to hear the words Sam knew his father would come out with but then again they probably already have at home.
“Dad, don’t do this in front of them.” Sam begged, not wanting to fight in the first place but he knew it would come eventually - he just wanted Finn by his side. “This has nothing to do with them.”
“No, I think they have the right to know what you are. How dare you ask anything of me? You’re nothing to me.” He cut the boy down. “You have left our home, and you’re no longer a part of this family as long as you prance around with your disgusting - “
“Don’t you dare.” Sam stepped up. “I didn’t have a choice in this; you’re the one that left. You left me at the hospital like I was some random person. I’m your son, and I’m their brother, and that doesn’t just change just because you don’t agree with something I am - which will never change, I am who I am Dad, and I love him and you can’t beat it out of me, though I’m sure you’d try.”
“You can’t love another man, Sam and if you do then you’re an abomination, and as long as I live you will never be accepted back into this family and your mother agrees.” Sam doubted she did, his father probably forced her to agree.
He could see his sibling’s faces, and he knew they didn’t want this but they were too young to even understand, and they daren’t stand up to their father and Sam didn’t expect them too. He expected his mother to fight back, to protect her son but she just sat there and nodded. It killed him to know that his own mother didn’t love him enough to fight back, to stand up for him regardless of how intimidating her husband is.
“Sam, what’s taking you so long?” Finn ran around the corner, completely oblivious until he saw the intense stand off between father and son.
“Oh, it shows its face. This is the boy who tore your family apart.” Sam’s father laughed, directing his speech to Stevie and Stacie.
Sam lunged forward at that moment, hating the fact that he was literally bringing his siblings into something that had no idea about. They were too young to know the difference. Finn managed to hold him back though, trying to be careful of Sam’s injured body. “Sam stop, you don’t want to do this,” Finn whispered. “Not in front of them, come on we can just leave.” At those words Sam stooped fighting against Finn, giving his wrecked family a glace before turning away.
“Faggots!”
Sam heard what his father said, forcing himself not to cry in front of him as they walked away. Finn quickly paid for their things whilst Sam waited in the car where he began to break down. It wasn’t long before Finn joined him, not knowing what to do. It killed him to see Sam like this, and it pissed him off to know that his own father pushed him to it.
“Finn, just drive please. I can’t be here.” Sam sobbed, wiping his face with the sleeves of his jacket.
Finn reluctantly did as he was told, starting the car and heading straight home. Sam sobbed the whole way, stopping for a few seconds but then starting again. Finn didn’t want to say anything in case he made it worse, but he knew they just needed to get home. Once there, Finn took Sam to their room and allowed the boy to just collapse against him,
“I can never go back, can I?” Sam sniffed. “He won’t let me see them ever again.”
“Sammy, I’m so sorry.” Finn muttered, struggling on what to say. “We’ll find a way, we will. We can try talking to your mom. We can do something.”
“No, we can’t. She won’t listen to us; she will only listen to him because she’s too scared.” Sam stood up, flinging his arms everywhere in frustration. “I was so stupid for thinking everything would work out; nothing is going to work out. Everything is just fucked up, and it’s my entire fault. I should have been careful; I should’ve made sure they would never find out. And now my whole family hates me, and I can’t do anything!”
Finn knew not to speak; it would only make things worse. Instead he stood, pulling Sam against him and let the boy cry it out. He couldn’t imagine how Sam must be feeling, he could only hope for the best and be there for him. And he would be, be there for everything, and he would hold his hand every step of the way if he had to. He would do anything to make it easier for Sam, though Finn knew that all he could do is hold Sam as he let it all out - and then after that he would hold him as he slept, and then again in the morning. Whenever, wherever, Finn would be there to make it easier or at least stop it from hurting as much.
