That's how I would describe yesterday. I arrived for my surgery only to be told it was scheduled for next Wednesday. I knew that wasn't right. I went to my office, found my appointment card, and came back. I'd have been furious. That sort of stuff happens in Vegas all the time though. You've got to make sure everything is square like 273.1 times! I know this is the surgery where they're taking stuff from the roof of your mouth. I skimmed your LJ about that, but has that already been done? or are they doing that and implanting it in one surgery? Is everything okay with your work/taking time off for the surgery still?

The surgery hasn't been done at all. The grafting is just the first step. The second step with be either braces (if affordable) or the procedure to install the posts for the implants.

And fortunately, I have an understanding boss who will allow me to shift my time off around.

"Yieeeee" about the surgery. That does not sound fun. I'm slated for periodontis surgery (Labret Piercings ftl) soon. That involves taking skin from the roof of my mouth and grafting it. YUCK.
