Indiana's a new colour

Indiana's blue on the map. Assuming no last-minute snafu (and it's unlikely), electoral votes will go to Obama, which will make him the first D to get them since 1964.

Those of you who know me know that I'm generally in favor of 3rd-party candidates, but this year I didn't bother pimping for them because I actually like Obama/Biden as a choice. So ( Read more... )

Yeah, it's not quite the domination victory that I was hoping for, but it's a pretty clear one. In addition to Indiana, I'm most amuse by Virginia and Florida. When you add that as of right now, North Carolina is still officially undeclared, but looks very much like it's going to go for Obama ... hee.

I also am generally in favor of 3rd-party candidates, although that doesn't mean I always vote for them. In particularly I thought the choice of Bob Barr to be a highly reprehensible one. (This guy? This is the guy you want representing the libertarian viewpoint? Are you familiar with his voting record?)
