September - A Shift in Focus

Greetings,

For various reasons, I've decided to shift the focus of this journal / blog. Rather than use it as merely a space in which to kvetch, exult, bitch and moan, I thought that a forum for discussion would prove far more useful. As a result, I'm opening up the vast majority (although not all) of my future posts to comment.

hey Yuriel,

This is your spot, and you can delete any post that you don't like, but as much as i've had problems with trolls in the comunities and UBB systems.. in MY journal, people are usually respectful. I am thinking that if discussion is what you want, you should introduce yourself on some of the add me communities, get a good friend's list going, and open up the posting - because like I said.. you can delete anything.

Well, people told me to join communities and stuff, but I don't really like that. I am a big fan of Stephen Colbert, so i'm a member of a community of his fans and I get along fine there. I tried joining a bunch of others - I have rats, and joined a place for rattie lovers, and that went very wrong (they were nasty abusive)... I've found there's mostly "young" (and I don't just meen chronologically) people on LJ.

I'm a member of this place - addme25_and_up and that's just for expanding your friend's list with people that are over 25. LOL! I've never posted there because i'd rather be the picker than the pickie, but i've added a few people from there. If you were to post there - i'd post that introduction that you posted the other day. When I saw that on my friends page yesterday, I thought that it was something for that add me community and I was about to add you until i figured out that i already had you! LOL!! That's a great introduction ( ... )
