Who: Sookie and Bill Where: Stackhouse Home, then out for a walk When: Evening, the night after the big Merlotte's post What: Bill wants to take Sookie out and get to know her better Status: Complete :)
Sookie was glad to be off work. She loved her job and loved Sam to pieces, but sometimes the place really took a toll. Forcing people out of her mind for several hours everyday sometimes gave her a headache that no Advil could cure. Not to mention, her poor feet hurt pretty badly after being on them for eight hours--sometimes longer

When he saw her smiling face from the window, he couldn't help but smile back. It was like she was a bright light in the darkness for him. Maybe that's what initially drew him to her so much. He wasn't too sure about that, though. She did have a lot of excellent qualities. Anyone of them could be what draws him to her like a moth to a flame.
"Hello, Sookie," he said to her as she came outside. "I'm sorry that I can't come by at a more proper time, but..." He looked up at the dark sky and gave a slight shrug. Unfortunately, due to his 'condition,' he really couldn't come at a proper time. He couldn't help but stare at her for a moment, though. She truly was a beauty, after all.
"I was wondering if you would like to go for a walk with me," he said to her when she asked what brought him over. He smiled at her again. He hoped that she would be willing. What he really wanted to do was get to know her a little bit better. Yes, they had shared a kiss before, but a kiss can only tell you so much about a person.
Sookie couldn't help but let out a giggle, the smile never leaving her features, "No problem," she said to his apology, "I'm always up late anyhow since I usually work 'til about one in the mornin'."
She glanced downward shyly for a moment at his request for a walk. Heck yes, she wanted to go for a walk with him. But, she was still feeling rather nervous and unsure about the whole thing. Bill was definitely 'dreamy', as her cheesy romance novels would describe, but the vampire thing was…well, she actually wasn't sure what she thought about it.
She found it interesting for sure and liked the fact that vampires were out in the open. But, to have kissed one? And to have one coming to her house in the middle of the night asking for moonlit walks? She just didn't know what to think. And she didn't know what he was thinking. Sometimes it bothered her because she was so used to being blasted with thoughts from everyone everywhere, but she was pretty sure not hearing his thoughts was what she liked most about him

Even though he knew that she would be up because of her work schedule, he still felt bad for having to come in the middle of the night to her. It also made him feel like he was a bad, evil thing, sneaking in during the middle of the night to see her when no one else was watching. He didn't want to be like some sneaking thing coming in the middle of the night
