Bored. That was probably the best way to describe Spike. He was bored. Angel was fun to egg on but he was no where to be found, the blasted buggering wanker. He liked Fred to much to pester the girl. Gunn, while fun to rile up by suddenly showing up in the loo, would only be riled up so much. Wanker. And Wesley, while so easily to rile up, didn't even *notice* the riling due to the fact that the blither had submerged into some sorta research ( ... )

"I see you are too," Cordelia said to the ghosty Spike. She shook her head, as though she was refocusing the reality back in her eyes. That had been her first vision post-coma. Well, besides the one that woke her up. Apparently the Powers really needed her to do something.

"I had a vision," she told Spike, whether or not he even cared. "And it was a doozy." What an understatement. She was afraid of closing her eyes again, or she'd see all the slaughter and death, hear the cries of pain, and just feel that general dread. Oh wait, that feeling didn't go away. Especially in this place.

Cordelia had seen some horrible things since moving to Los Angeles, thanks to the Powers. Hell, she'd even done some horrible things--of course, it wasn't her in the driver's seat. But, that vision was intense. More than intense. It was a clear warning.

"Pain, death, apocalypse, and a brand spankin' new Hellmouth," she said, "And your precious little slayer fighting for her life, as usual," she completed with a slight eye roll.

"Oh yeah, it's really cool," Spike said in a dry tone of voice only Brits seemed to be able to master. "Maybe we can compare floatin' notes, just cause it's so damn cool ( ... )

Cordelia rolled her eyes. "You could pretend to care a little," she said pointedly. "You know, if the whole world gets sucked into hell, I don't think ghosts are exempt. You wouldn't be floating around and annoying us all, you'd just be gone. Poof! And not in the vampire-kinda way. 'Cause you're obviously not one of those anymore." Okay, a little harsh, maybe. But, it was Spike ( ... )

Gunn threw his files onto his desk with a huff. He was getting to the point where he couldn't stand more and more of his clients as of late. Sure, all of them were scum, but one company ripping off another was something that he could easily deal with. The Man was still The Man, even in his new stature which sort of made him The Man, even though he'd rather not think about that. Still, now he was getting more and more clients whom he personally abhorred. It was starting to drive him a little batty ( ... )

Cordelia turned back around as Spike noted that she was heading towards the accounting department. "Right, I meant to go there, obviously," she said, snottily, not one to ever admit she was mistaken ( ... )

"A vision?" Since Cord's coma, there hadn't been any visions. Well, they hadn't been told of any, at least. Even though she had had 'the vision look', it still took a second to get back into the swing of it. Or something.

He listened to her as she told him the short version of her vision. He figured that there was more to it. Stuff that she wasn't telling because it was hard to relive. He certainly didn't envy her of that power, that was for sure.

"New Orleans? Lorne is in Louisiana right now, opening up a new club." So, it wasn't like they didn't already have someone in the area. "Is this something that needs to be looked into, like, now?" Sure, he had responsibilities here and such, but a new Hellmouth was something that they needed to go and check on, like yesterday.

"We need to get down there, then." He was sure that Angel would agree on that. Wolfram & Hart might as well, since they were all about evil stuff. Something that Gunn was liking less and less by the day.

He'd been intending on heading down to the lab to visit Fred, but he stumbled over Cordelia, Spike, and Gunn in the hallway, talking about visions. He looked at Cordelia quickly.

"Vision? You had a vision?"

Maybe this would be like the old days. Cordy would have a vision, they could run off and help the helpless a bit, maybe without the red tape...the prospect was actually ridiculously appealing.

Cordelia knew there was something missing from the hallways; Lorne's chipper and not-so-evil attitude, despite being the only one who look it on the outside. Well, minus the colorful suits. "Oh, really? Well, that's great for him. And maybe for us ( ... )

Gunn was a tad relieved to see the almost excited look on Angel's face. After that talk with him earlier, he knew that Angel wasn't exactly loving working here, either. Hell, did any of them really like it? Maybe Fred, but she was in nerd nirvana with the lab. The rest of them it seemed were starting to have doubts about this, and, with Cordy back telling them what a horrible idea it was, even with the designer pumps that he could see her in, maybe it was time to at least get away for a little while ( ... )

A vision. Checking things out. He was ridiculously excited at the idea of it. Just like old times, getting out and actually doing something, instead of dealing with paperwork and red tape and feeling frustrated all the time because he couldn't tell if he was actually helping or not.

"Well, round up the gang. Time for a road trip." He said, grinning widely.
