Occasionally, it is nice to sit back and let the world unfurl around you. One has to apply this when dealing with friends. Sometimes you get great seats and sometimes you get the nosebleed section. It appears that I have purchased a whole freaking section.
Way at the top you can view the sideshow of drama called "Confusion: Part One"; where we feature the estranged entangles of the heart and it's loss. It's a tale of two star-crossed lovers who find out that reciprocation is the key to all desire.
From the middle section, just below the nosebleed seats, you will discover the "Call of Opportunity." It is a film short of a young couple who must struggle through the rigors of traversing to unexplored territory. How will they cope with leaving their friends behind? Following the movie, you can view a more abstract film short called "Hermititus." It is the story of a young girl trapped in the interweaving of her solitude in the midst of a full house. She slowly deteriorates mentally, emotionally and physically. Will further isolation bring her to an early grave or will she turn the tides and meta-morph into a social butterfly?
Second above the club seats you can hear "Misunderstandings." It is a bawdy tune about wanting to create art using the human facial expression mid-coitus and the preference of capturing the actual moment as opposed to the Great Myth of the Female Orgasm.
Finally, from our finest seats in the house, you can observe the "Celebration of Social Gathering." It is a comedy about a group of friends who gather to honor the aging of a mutual friend. They philosophically discuss previous celebrations, the party favors that circulate each year, and how said party favors have seen more action then some of the attendees. They also discuss the antics of a distant traveler's grandmother, the language of underwear and how the Swedish Chef should be Japanese and re-named Yama. Hilarity ensues...
