That was just about a perfect beginning! You have the characterisations down brilliantly, and I loved Wash's line about the stick and the dinosaurs. (Sorry, can't do the quote thingy.)More please, as soon as possible.

Excellent beginning. Everyone in character, and the little teaser at the beginning was so enticing. But cruel, very cruel, with no resolution in sight yet. Only makes me want more, and I can't wait to see another chapter. :D Great job!
