Aw, poor Kaylee. That was such a powerful episode in the series, and I could stomp all over Fox for ensuring it remained unresolved. Grrrrrrr. Still, you made it better with this fic, so thanks. Nice job!

I agree, leaving the show dangling with this episode was really a huge shame...so many place to go with it that the series never could and the movie wasn't able to.

Oh this is so lovely and so sweet! I would have so loved to see Kaylee dealing with the trauma of Jubal Early and Mal, I think, is the only person who could have helped her like this.
So perfectly them.

I agree. I just have a Mal and Kaylee thing that I can't seem to shake. They complement each other.
