[Well, the new girl here is sitting alone during lunch, outside. She's apparently stolen guy's trousers from somewhere, which are too big, but cuffed and belted anyway. She's sitting against a tree, watching everyone with a blank expression. She gives Xion a suspicious look at first when she approaches, but eventually shrugs.]

To know if one has that... [ a thoughtful pause ] I think the most logical answer would be this-- by seeing how is it that you react to certain things. For example, surprise- that's a very simple, basic emotion, isn't it? To those who can feel- it's how they will react to surprising things. Those who cannot won't react or be affected at all.
