Happy New Years
Jaejoong gave a wistful sigh as he walked down the street. The streets were bright with festive lights that decorated the surrounding area. Around him, couples were snuggled together as they waited for the countdown for New Years to begin. Jaejoong sighed with envy, wishing he were one of those people who were snuggled with their lover. His lover had been busy, not being able to meet him for Christmas either. Although the two had web-chatted, it wasn’t the same as being together.
As the time grew closer to New Years, the people around him became more excited. Jaejoong continued to walk closer to the center where the festivities were taking place, where he and his lover had been last year. Last year the two of them had celebrated New Years snuggled together and when the countdown had finished, the two of them had returned to their home to celebrate with their friends. Although they had invited him to celebrate with them again this year, Jaejoong didn’t want to be the third wheel with his friends and if he saw them with their lovers, he would feel even lonelier. Maybe he would go home and snuggled with Jiji and Taepoong when he got home.
The crowd began to countdown.

“HAPPY NEW YEARS!”
The people around Jaejoong cheered and began to kiss. Giving a melancholy sigh, Jaejoong began to turn around to go home when a pair of strong arms wrapped around him. Inhaling the familiar smell, Jaejoong turned around to face the warm smile of the person he loved. He face crinkled as he tried not to cry.
Giving a laugh that was as warm as the person, his lover hugged him tighter. After Jaejoong had stopped tearing, he looked up at his lover and smiled. Giving a smile in reply, his lover lowered his head to give a kiss to Jaejoong.
“Happy New Years Jaejoong-ah”
“Happy New Years Yunho.”

Sorry this is a mess! I wrote it in like twenty minutes and I really wanted to write a New Years story! I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays and I wish everyone a Happy New Years!
