Adolfo de Jesus Constanzo was born in Miami FL on November 1, 1962. His mother, a fifteen year old Cuban immegrant had him baptized in the Catholic religion, but this was only to cover up the underlying truth. When he was six months old she took him to a priest of palo mayombe. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palo_mayombe) He was blessed and grew up believing that he was ‘destined for great power’.

When he was still an infant, his mother moved to San Juan in Puerto Rico. There she practiced palo mayombe, teaching her son everything with the aid of Haitian palo priests. They soon moved back to Florida where Costanzo’s teaching continued. He completed highschool, but dropped out of junior college, instead choosing to focus his attention wholly on learning black magic. With his mentor in Miami he robbed graves, and began his life of gruesome crime.

By 1976 Constanzo had a marked habit of predicting the future, though he could seemingly not keep himself from trouble. He was arrested for shop lifting such items as a chainsaw.
In 1983 he finally dedicated himself soly to palo mayombe. He was officially initiated and at the end of the ceremony he proclaimed “My soul is dead. I have no god.”

In that same year Constanzo recruited his first Mexican deciples. Martin Quintana Rodriguez, Omar Orea Ochoa, and Jorge Montes. The first two became his lovers, and remained with him. The next year Constanzo moved officially to Mexico and set up shop. He offered cleansing rituals and hexes, the price ranging from six dollars to thirty one hundred, depending on the sacrificial animal. He charmed wealthy drug dealers into believing he could grant them protection and made large sums off of them, eventually engaging in the business himself. Members of the police force and all manner of authority figures joined his cult.

As he began to become more successful, earning tens of thousands of equivolent dollars, Constanzo began to fill his nganga or cauldren with human sacrifices. Twenty three ritual murders are documented to have happened under Constanzo’s command in Mexico City. One particular incident in 1987 fed his cauldren. Constanzo asked for a share in the drug cartel Calzada family’s business and was refused. A few days later six members of the Calzada family were missing. When the bodies were discovered they were missing fingers, toes, ears, genitals, and brains. One even had a portion of his spine ripped out.

Shortly after, Constanzo added a woman named Aldrete to his cult. She became la madrina, the godmother of the cult, the advice-giver, and a connection to other drug dealing customers. After this Constanzo’s rituals became even more gruesome-the more the victim suffered, the more pleased their god (Kadiempembe) would be.

By 1989 Constanzo was bored. He wanted fresh meat-a victim that would scream, so he took an American named Mark Kilroy. This caused more of a stir than he would have wanted, and so in order to safely transport eight hundred kilos of marijuana he took another sacrifice.

On April 19 the ranch where Constanzo and his cult had been practicing was raided. Over thirty bodies were unearthed, but by then the cult had fled, going from house to house in Mexico City.

On May 6 the mad dash came to an end. Cornered, Constanzo ordered one of his diciples to shoot him and Quintana. He obeyed and that was how they were found-the godly magic manipulator and his lover bled to death in a closet.
