Ewww exams...

Completed my English exam an hour ago.
Believe it or not, I actually enjoyed that exam. (<--does that give you "chills down the spine" or what?) We could choose one of three quotes to relate a novel to -- the novel being one of either Hamlet, Alias Grace, or Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. Living up to my contrariness, I picked the most obscure ( Read more... )

Hey MJ,

Glad to hear of your achievements! I choose the same quote too. I looked at the quotes and totally blanked..lol. I tried to decipher the quotes and only found a common voice with the last. I got all my energy together and the essay grew and eventually broke through the soil and sunlight at last! Beautiful yellow pedals I bloomed. Except...the hands...gloved hands...they pulled me out of the soil. I dug in and tried to hold on to no avail. I got plucked out and thrown into the darkness ( ... )

Ooh, you did #3 too? ^^; Let's hope we had what she wanted, and that she's generous with the marking!

By "drawing pad", I assume you're referring to a tablet? You've got a point when you said that it won't make much of a difference -- it's possible to imitate any effects a tablet can produce. A mouse just takes longer, but since I'm not going pro or anything, I'm perfectly content with my laser mouse. =)

Haha, "chills down your spine"? I'm just happy it's over with. Not that it was bad... English has been a lot of fun. Hmmm... I just realized I spelled Virginia Woolf wrong on the exam... twice... that ain't pretty. Erhem.... nehoo...

I want a laser mouse! Not that I need it... except maybe for playing computer games >=). And what happened to the pic you were doing last time? The one where the guy had wings or something... well, hf drawing. Looking forward to the final product. hf studying too i guess =)

Aiyah, you and your computer games... lol~ Play Fire Emblem when you get the chance, 'kay? It's soooo good XD

The guy with wings is, unfortunately, one of the 20-ish incomplete pictures I have on my waiting list right now... I'll get around to it, eventually. ^^; I've got too many pictures I want to draw, but can't get 'round to finishing~ heehee

PS Thanks again for the scans! ^^

"Chills down spine" is so accurate; enjoyable and exam shouldn't be within three long paragraphs of each other, let alone one breath.

Your post title is misleading, as you "enjoyed" that exam...good luck with the rest of 'em, and have fun with your new laser mouse! And make more awesome art with it~! *rubs hands greedily*

LOL! I didn't realize I was contradicting myself... XD
Let's just hope that my results are "enjoyable" too!

And thanks for the encouragement~ =^_^=

heh, about cheap and underhanded....I think my eng teacher might have kinda made us resort to the same thing... seeing as he actually pretty much prepped us for that exact exam... with a different quote that was very very similar, so... you don't have to worry! (He'll have fun reading 15 essays of the exact same topic and using the exact same characters from teh exact same books...)

Anyways, I have a laser mouse! And I don't notice the difference other then I don't have to take out the ball thingy...O.o

I should do this while I still can... *coughhackcough*
I'M DONE MY EXAMS!!! MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
