Yay!! New Chapter! :D I love the slow burn between Sam and Jack, that they're just taking things slow and letting it develop naturally. The domestic stuff is really just too cute. :)

Your plot seems to be thickening up nicely, I must say, and in the meantime I am enjoying the somewhat more relaxed group, who seem to be coming to terms with the situation rather better than expected.

Jack's fear of screwing up at domesticity is in-character and endearing, but somehow I always imagine that given the chance he could really excel at it, if she doesn't expect too much in the way of heart-to-heart talks. It's Sam that I expect would have to work at it a bit more. I think she's been defining herself by her career for long enough that it will be a bit of a transition for her.

Much sympathy on the battle with your Muse. They can be obstinate an flighty by turns, can't they?

One of the things that I wanted to with this fic is show the characters having fun. Being stuck in a ship for 50 years, you would have to find ways of coping or you'd go mad.

It's Sam that I expect would have to work at it a bit more.
You know, this had crossed my mind, especially with her past relationships. And you're completely right, Jack would be fine once he moves pass his baggage but Sam would be scared to let go of the lines that serperate them. Even though she wants to as well.

And I like that people are responding to them taking it slow rather well. There will be some kissing and sexing in later chaps, but you're right, if they screw it up, it could really ruin their relationship.
