The decision has finally been made
After getting the job offer almost 2 weeks ago, I went in to work and told my boss about it. He asked me to put it off so he could see what he could do about my situation there. A lot of people at the corporate level were involved in this, but unfortunately the 2 key people who were required to make the decision were on vacation. Strangely
