I just threw up in my mouth a little.

My sister is allergic to caterpillars! When she was a kid she held one for a little bit and whatever toxin they excrete from their evil sucker feet gave her welts all over her body. Crazy stuff.

I still get creeped out looking at these. I don't know how I managed to get that close to them without freaking out. Well, technically I did freak out a bit when one of them that I didn't see reached up to give my finger a hug.

They must be chocked full of poison, with their colorful paintjobs and the fact that no birds were eating any of them. A state worker will probably go lay down outside for a hard earned nap and be found hours later killed by thousands of caterpillars.

The lone one going by the fountains was cute though, and an insperational story for us all. You can do it little guy!

Caterpillars are larvae, so they don't HAVE a mating season.

Random Farker here. Nice pics! I'm not to sure about the poison though because I feed these things to my pet turtle all the time. She loves them.
