My New Internship...

So I officially started my internship at Commissioner Suffredin's office this morning. It's only going to be two days a week, but it looks like it's going to be a fascinating experience. ahh!! that's the other name i had in mind. I was thinking "he has an older brother named Matt..." i chose from Matt Fish or Matt Dennis. i knew it was one of the two. :-)

1. Really well, apparently. If I happen to meet her next week when I'm interviewing at Wilhelm & Conlon, should I say 'hi' to her for you?

2. Indeed. Eric's RH was also one of my anthro professors at the U of C. I had no less than 4 U of C-based conversations with him today that tracked back to people I know (including yi_sen twice)...

3. Me too. It's been a while since I had a reason to be excited when getting out of bed. At least, excited about something not involving a) Tuesdays at Suncoast, b) visiting agatia or other friends or c) Wait, Wait Thursdays...

Actually, I believe it's now Anne Choate-Tangren. I saw them a couple of weeks ago. Anee still looks the same as in college, but John's got the button-down shirt and wire-rim glasses with chinos and a button-down Oxford thing going. He couldn't look more like a rich, 20-something lawyer if they dipped him in hair gel and stuck a briefcase in his hands...
