Glasberg sounds like those fic writers who start a story without an outline, and plot the next chapter on the train on their way to work every day. Next thing you know, the planned 15 chapter casefic is a 60 part-and-counting rambly mess with no end in sight that you don't want to abandon because, even though it sucks now, there are glimmers of a brilliant plot and good characterization somewhere in there, and all you can think as you scroll to the end of part 60 is, “Wow, this needs a beta.” Don't make me think you need a beta, Gary Glasberg!
Okay, this was what I was trying to convey when I said that it doesn't sound like the writers have their final decisions all plotted out yet, because...exactly this. Amazing, hilarious analogy.
I don't know how I'll make it through summer; I am becoming increasingly concerned about their apparent lack of planning, and it's only the second day of hiatus. Because if they don't have a plan, they might start doing crazy things like listening to what the fans want, and that never leads anywhere good.
