What to do if you want to travel Central America * (what we didn't)

Finally in Costa Rica, last stop before NZ and OZ. Dominican Republic was fantastically expensive, which amusingly meant that for the two of us it was fantastically cheap, because we couldn't afford to do anything much. We saw whales. Oh, and I think that the carribean sucks.

I've now put it on my list of places never to visit.

I hope NZ and OZ are much better. And I'll tell Mum you're still alive.

Only from the perspective of, there are nicer cheaper friendlier places just around the corner. Belize, San Salvador, Panama, Costa Rica. Probably the places we didn't go are nice too.

Well as I understand it[1] pretty much everyone in the Carribean is a pirate, so it's not surprising it's a bit sucky.

Frances seems to have gone mad. She now actively persues sunbathing, trying to loose those bits where dress straps or costume straps leave naughts-and-crosses boards on her back. I think the sun has cooked her brain.
