How awful. Particularly bad that they thought to take keys. Hopefully most of the cost of replacement locks (as well as other items that are replaceable) will be borne by insurance.

Horrible. You have my sympathies, and that the crooks are caught and your backup CD returned. (Stealing a backup CD... crazy.)

Damn and all very unplesant.
Apparently stolen laptops turn up on Ebay sometimes but I didn't find mine.
