i know you are going to hate me for saying this or think i am crazy. but i love twilight, for everything it is.

Really the biggest problem I have is that it really seems like in some ways it has a bad message for the young girls who idealize these characters. I don't see you thinking it's romantic the next time a guy is frighteningly possesive of you or anything, I'm not too concerned.
I lent you my copy of the golden compass a while back--that is exactly the sort of heroine a book for young girls needs I think. A strong and capable free-thinker is just a much better role model than a kinda stupid doormat.
