AT&T was supposed to have their GSM service working here in August. I'm shocked they got it done this century.

Yeah, I think Arash said AT&T told him it'd be ready last year! A big company like that should keep up with technology and be one of the frontrunners when it comes to stuff like this. They definitely got owned by Sprint and T-Mobile.

gsm is already obsolete. there is some other technology that verizon and sprint both use that is supposed to be the newest and best for a variety of reason i can't remember. i forgot what it is, though. the military uses it too.

hah. that just made me sound like an idiot.

p.s. there's this grand new thing out right now. but i don't know what or who makes it.

ok. now i'm just being facetious.

I guess AT&T is behind in this newer technology, too. Great.

Hey, where is this Casa Romeu place? I'm taking my first extended vacation to S. Florida over the break and am looking for the best food down here

It's actually a little chain down in south florida, I know of 3 locations. The one we ate at is located on Miami Gardens Drive and 67th Ave. I know that there's one in Pembroke Pines somewhere, not sure where exactly, I haven't been to it. Then there's one in Hialeah, 60th St and 26th Ave I believe. I recommend the appetizer they have, I forget what it's called, marquitas or something.. then the Pan con bistec and Materva soda.
