Jobs
Those are interesting points you make and it's so true. Not like I've had much experience, but I've hated every job I've had. I'm really hoping that doesn't happen with real jobs after college but it doesn't seem likely.

The Future of Florida
I think it's crazy how much Florida is growing, especially south Florida. The polulation is slowly creeping north and west, it seems. I know Port St Lucie is one of the fastest growing cities in the country.
Even my little town of Wellington has grown almost 20,000 since the 2000 census. (From 40,000 to 60,000.)
It seems that almost every time I drive home from Gainesville, there is a new neighborhood that popped up right next to the turnpike north of Orlando.
I'm sure that one day, the entire coast of Florida will be populated but I hope it doesn't happen in my lifetime. I definitely don't want to see it happen!
I'm all about buying real estate too. I'm taking a real estate class in the fall and I am really excited about it.

Ok this comment is probably getting long so I should stop now.

I too don't have much experience, but I've been fortunate to have some fun jobs. I can't say that I've hated any of the jobs I've had, hehe. But at my current job, I'm surrounded by many people whose careers are with this company, and I would say the majority of them would rather have other jobs. There are some that look like they really hate their job, giving me the impression that they're there only because their bills have to be paid, lol. There are others that seem to really like their job, but those are the minority ( ... )

The class I'm going to take is REE3043, Real Estate Analysis. I think it's online. You should take it!
I also wish I could see in the future to know where property will appreciate the most.
I wish I had the money to buy some property now!

Cool, I'll look into it. Dunno about this semester, though.

Although development can be a positive thing in many aspects, it can also be an extremely negative one. if the current rate of expansion continues, the impact on the environment will be detrimental. florida is considered a paridise for its natural beauty, and this will be destroyed if the costal ecological niches are disrupted by development. florida's ecolandscape is unique and steps should be taken to protect it; otherwise, florida will not be as desireable in the future as it is now. sad.
