It is unbelievable how close Hurricane Ivan's eye has come to making landfall, but actually hasn't. It looks like the eye is going to miss Cuba completely, by what looks to be a matter of micrometers. While this means it hasn't "directly" hit Jamaica, the Cayman islands, or possibly Cuba, it's gotten close enough to generate an enormous storm

I'd hide your car in a parking garage or something ... that's what I did with my Mustang. Some girl here left her SUV by the field near my dorm, and this huge tree fell on it. Destroyed it completely. I have a couple of pictures of it.
